So back to my normal life, As usual I find myself people watching while enjoying coffee at Starbucks. There are numerous conversations and studying going on as I look around the room. I am sure I too am a object of someone else’s people watching session. There has been times that I would like to just sit down at a table occupied by another person and strike up a conversation. It seems with all of the technology we have in today’s world we have forgotten what it really means to be social. We sit at a table full of friends and stare at our phone’s screen waiting for the next update on Facebook, Twitter, Google+..ect. It truly amazes me how unsocial we have became in the past five years and we have the iPhone and other smart phones to thank for this. With that being said I am always excited to see what new technology will be coming out. So bring on some cool ass stuff 2012!!!

Well I am sure by now you have heard about the FedEx delivery guy tossing a customer’s computer monitor onto his porch and breaking it. Well if you haven’t, watch the video below. It makes you wonder how you items are really treated. I mean this guy is like the Honey Badger, he don’t give a shit..

Well here it is, I have three days left to shop for Christmas. It never fails that I wait until the last minute to do most of my shopping. I have all the gifts for Boo & Button’s, I think. Considering they are really the only two that I am really concerned about. I want to be sure they have a great Christmas because the season is really for them. I am so blessed to have the best daughters in the world. They always make me smile, and the feeling I get when they call me Dad is impossible to explain.
So anyway I am down to the wire to finish shopping for the rest of the people in my family. People like my mother, brother, sister, brother-in-law, two nieces, great nephews, and grandmother. I have no clue what to get any of these folks and it usually ends up with handing out gift cards and I hate that. I mean I enjoy getting gift cards but I always fear that they think I am not being sincere.
I have always found this time of the year to be so stressful and this year it is even more stressful. So help me with my stress, if you read this before the 23rd hit me up with some creative ideas because I can really use them…

I was so excited when I woke up this morning because theBonnaroo 2012 tickets went on pre-sale today at noon.. Yeehaw!!! Yeah right, I guess I should have looked at what time zone noon really was. By the time i went to the site they had sold out. I am looking at this as some kind of sign, yeah the sigh my ass wasn’t suppose to save any money. It is kinda like standing outside on a very cold rainy night just to be the first 20 people inside your favorite retail store to get that killer deal on a 80” led flat-screen only to find out they only had 3 in stock….. Black Friday what a joke, I will admit I too used to be all into getting that killer deal and usually they were all gone by the time I was selected to be the next five tired and pissed-off customer allowed into a store..The funny thing now is Black Friday has turned into Black Weekend which also includes Small Business Saturday then followed by Cyber Monday. Hell all the retail hype and blah blah blah has really taken the meaning away from the season. Well there is my rant for the day. Peace and Happy Holidays!!!!!!!
So Doug Curriden a good friend of mine came into town to pick me up to embark on a road trip to an with an unknown outcome. We knew where we were heading, but not sure where we were staying or how events would unfold.
It was the ideal Autumn day where wind us crisp spreading thin the cummulus cloud hanging low in the clear blues sky. Hell, a better day for a roadtrip could not be imagined. It was one if those mini vacations that lifts your sprits and causes the mind to escape from the day to day grind one can experience.
I’m A Baller On A Budget
So far the days has started off great. I had a little clue it was going to be a good day when I woke up breathing, usually a good sign. After getting my morning intake of coffee I heading to Starbucks to study and fine tune my people watching skills. You really can see some interesting individuals while having additional intake of caffeine.
In my journey to become a half slacker I have found it really necessary to laugh as much as possible. Sometimes it might take some visual and auditory stimulation, so I have included a little bit of both combined in what most know as a video, so enjoy.
